NOMADA PROGRAM | SUCHIPAKARI

After coordinating with the hotel, one of our representatives from Suchipakari Eco-Lodge will meet you in the Lower Pusuno area, guiding you to the reception and marking the start of your exciting adventure in the Amazon rainforest.

During this journey, you’ll only need to bring your carry-on luggage and photography equipment, as our friendly staff will take care of transporting the rest of your belongings.

Upon arrival at the reception, our manager will welcome you with a refreshing energizing drink and provide a brief orientation on the tropical rainforest, available spa therapies, and the various activities and places you can explore during your stay at Suchipakari Eco-Lodge. This introduction is designed to give you a general overview and spark enthusiasm for the experiences that await.

The term “tropical” goes beyond Caribbean beaches. Experience the Amazonian tropics: enjoy the pool after your journey, share stories with friends and family, and admire the sunset over the river and its lush trees.

Itinerary

DAY 1

13H00 A 14H30 PM | Welcome lunch

Ecological Trail Hike – “Gran Ceibo”  & Medicinal Plants

We gear up with rubber boots and, guided by our native experts fluent in Spanish, English, and in interpreting the sounds of birds and monkeys you’ll embark on a journey through the dense and humid rainforest. Cross muddy trails, encounter a wide variety of wildlife, and learn about the healing power of Amazonian medicinal plants.

Afternoon Tubing – This adventure begins from our private sandy beach on the Pusuno River. Equipped with a life jacket and helmet, you'll practice your paddling technique and dive into the water, feeling the thrill of the descent at your own pace as you float downstream on the tubes.

DAY 2

Breakfast

Start your day with a breakfast full of local flavors — perfect for fueling up before diving into Amazonian adventure.

Jungle Hike – Jumandy Viewpoint Trail

Venture deep into the tropical rainforest in search of hidden wildlife. Cross muddy trails, listen to the sounds of nature, and marvel at a breathtaking panoramic view from a hidden lookout within the jungle.

Return to the Lodge & Lunch

Kayaking

Let the current guide you as you paddle through the mysterious tributaries of the Pusuno River. Feel the thrill of exploring the jungle from the water, spotting exotic birds and wildlife along the riverbanks..

Dinner 

Enjoy a magical dinner beneath the starry Amazonian sky and relax to the soothing sounds of nature before a well-deserved rest.

Optional: Night Walk: Experience the rainforest in a whole new light as night falls. With a flashlight in hand, discover nocturnal creatures like frogs, insects, and other hidden surprises of the jungle

Live a unique adventure as you explore the ancient tradition of gold panning. Immerse yourself in the history of Amazonian treasure seekers while learning this fascinating technique hands-on..

Lunch

Enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of the rainforest, the perfect moment to relax and share experiences.

Cooking Class

Discover the secrets of Amazonian cuisine by learning to prepare Maito, a traditional dish wrapped in bijao leaves and cooked over open fire. Experiment with local ingredients and authentic flavors while exploring ancestral cooking techniques

Dinner & Rest

End the day with a special dinner at the lodge and enjoy a well deserved rest, accompanied by the peaceful nighttime sounds of the jungle.

DAY 4

08H00 | Breakfast & Chocolate Workshop

We’ll start the day with a delicious tropical-style breakfast.

Next, we’ll dive into the world of Amazonian chocolate as we learn about the artisanal process of its creation. We’ll take part in the chocolate-making process, from cacao harvesting to the final tasting, paired with fresh local fruits.

Check-Out

·        The Nomad Plan begins with dinner on the first day and ends with lunch on the last day of your stay. If you wish to arrive at the lodge earlier than planned, you can coordinate at no additional charge, subject to availability. Additionally, you have the option to request to move the lunch from the last day to the first day of your stay.

·        At the reception, accompanied by your guide, you can choose to add extra options outside the lodge for a special cost. These may include excursions such as a Napo River Tour, waterfall visits, or adventure sports like rafting or ATV tours.
