Hike & Bike Tungurahua
The Tungurahua Volcano, rising to 5,023 meters above sea level, is located near the town of Baños de Agua Santa, a destination known for its hot springs and natural landscapes.
The adventure begins with a hike along the volcano’s trails, ascending the slopes of Tungurahua, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Baños valley, the Amazon jungle, and, if the weather permits, the volcano’s summit.
After the hike, the exciting bike descent begins, traveling along dirt roads and trails through the mountainous landscape. As you descend, you will pass waterfalls, farmland, and small rural communities.
This tour will test your endurance as you first climb to the Tungurahua refuge at 3,800 m, and then descend by bike along dirt and rocky roads, drifting and feeling a whirlwind of adrenaline. Are you ready to push the limits of fear with this 4x4 tour?
