Climbing in Baños de Agua Santa, one of Ecuador's tourist gems, is an exhilarating experience for sport enthusiasts, thanks to its spectacular natural surroundings and the diversity of available routes.

Enjoy the view over the Pastaza River while climbing the massive basalt rock walls, formed centuries ago by the Tungurahua volcano, in a half-day tour.

This tour is designed for people of all levels of rock climbing experience, as the routes range from very easy to those requiring technical skills, knowledge, and prior practice.

Technical Difficulty:

1. French grading: 5a, 6b, 6c, 7a+, 7b, 7c
2. American grading: 5.6, 5.10c, 5.11a, 5.11d, 5.12a, 5.12b, 5.12c

Itinerary

We depart from the office in Baños, where the guide will provide all the safety equipment, and we head to the San Martín area, a 10-minute drive away.

Once at the rock base, our guide will equip and secure the climbers.

There are several routes between 20 and 25 meters high, suitable for both beginners and experienced climbers.
