Itinerary

DAY 1

• Our course begins from our office in Baños in the morning.

• We will travel to the starting point to begin with an introduction to kayaking, getting familiar with the equipment and general safety guidelines.

• Course participants will learn the most important kayaking move, the "Eskimo Roll."

• This technique is used when you need to quickly return to an upright position in case you flip upside down in your kayak.

• This day will be spent with our instructors in a pool to familiarize yourself with the equipment and practice the Eskimo Roll until you can do it on your own!

DAY 2

• This practice will take us to the river and one step closer to the fun! We will start in a level II area (non-technical rapids) where we will learn paddling techniques and work on perfecting the Eskimo Roll.

DAY 3

• It will be time to prove to yourself that you are ready to paddle in higher-volume water.

• We will be able to put all this practice to work and tackle some level III rapids!

• After completing the course, all you need to become an advanced kayaker is to practice your skills on different rivers!
